The included backup utility automatically checks the client PC’s for the data to backup to the CM-4.

The CM-4 has a very simple software interface that can have the system up and running on the network in minutes or allow you complete control from managing user access to creating groups, and providing them varying levels of permissions.  The system supports Domain Security to allow you to utilize your current users and groups. 

The USB port on the CM-4 can be used to archive the content to an external storage device or to connect a UPS (Uninterruptible power supply) to allow for safe shutdowns when power is interrupted.
